Savory Palmiers

Prep Time: 60 minutes / Cook Time: 8 minutes / Yields: about 40

California Sun Dry

Ingredients

1 package frozen puff pastry, defrosted
½ cup California Sun Dry Pesto
½ cup crumbled goat cheese
½ cup finely chopped Sun-Dried Tomato Halves in oil, drained
¼ cup toasted pine nuts
Kosher salt

Instructions

Step 1
Lightly flour a board & unfold one sheet of puff pastry. Roll out the pastry to 9 ½” x 11 ½”. Spread with half the pesto, half the goat cheese, half the sun-dried tomatoes, & half the pine nuts.

Step 2
Fold each end ¼ of the way to the center, fold each side again almost to the center. Fold one side over the other & press lightly. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Repeat with a second sheet of pastry.

Step 3
Cover both with plastic wrap and chill for at least 45 minutes.

Step 4
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Slice the prepared rolls into 1/4 inch thick slices and place them face up 2” apart on lined baking sheets. Bake for 8 minutes, turn over and bake until golden brown.
