Sun-Dried Tomato Deviled Eggs

Ingredients
6 eggs
¼ cup grated, then chopped, sharp cheddar
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup Smoked Julienne Cut Tomatoes, chopped
¼ tsp kosher salt
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Our Sun-Dried Tomato Deviled Eggs are a flavorful twist to a classic appetizer. Hosting a party, preparing a special brunch, or a tasty snack just got a lot easier with these delicious deviled eggs! The creamy richness of deviled eggs with our flavorful sun-dried tomatoes create the perfect combination to satisfy your palate.
Step 1
Put eggs into a 4-qt pot of cool water and bring to a boil. Remove pan from heat and cover for 7-9 minutes.
Step 2
Drain the eggs and cover with ice cubes and cold water. Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes. Once cooled, remove the eggs from the cold water to be dried off and cracked. Cut each egg in half.
Step 3
Using a small spoon, transfer yolks to a medium bowl and break up with a fork. Add cheddar, mayonnaise, chopped California Sun Dry Smoked Julienne Cut Sun-Dried Tomatoes, salt and pepper. Stir thoroughly.
Step 4
Scoop mixture into a plastic bag (or a piping bag fitted with a smooth tip) and pipe the mixture into the egg whites.
Step 5
Garnish the Sun-Dried Tomato Deviled Eggs with chopped parsley and serve chilled or at room temperature.
