Creamy Sun-Dried Tomato Sausage Pasta

California Sun Dry

Ingredients

1/2 cup Julienne Cut Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Packed in Oil, drained and chopped
1 lb ground Italian sausage
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup white wine
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper
3 cups baby spinach
Parsley, chopped
Parmesan, grated
Basil, chopped

Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions.

Step 2
Over medium-high heat, brown your Italian sausage, breaking up clumps as it cooks. Cook for about 5 minutes, then remove sausage from pan and set aside.

Step 3
Melt butter in that same pan and add olive oil. Then pour in your California Sun Dry Julienne Cut Sun-Dried Tomatoes, drained from the oil, and sauté the tomatoes for about 1 minute.

Step 4
Add in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Turn the heat to medium-low and pour in white wine and heavy cream. Bring to a boil and add your parmesan cheese in batches allowing to smoothly melt into the sauce.

Step 5
Season with Italian seasoning, paprika, and salt & pepper. Allow sauce to simmer until it begins to thicken.

Step 6
Add in spinach and stir until it is wilted.

Step 4
Add your cooked pasta and cooked sausage to the sauce. Serve and top with parmesan cheese, parsley, and basil!
